Information we collect
We collect information to provide better services to clients and to inform existing and potential clients of events, training, workshops or business support services that might be of interest. For example, when you register to attend our events, receive business, finance or financial services, or sign up to our mailing list, we’ll ask for personal and business information, such as your name, company name, email address and telephone number. The information we request is dependent on the service you receive.
How we collect your information
We collect your information when you provide it to us, for example by contacting us regarding our services, or by requesting our newsletter, or giving us your business card. Depending on the service you receive we may also collect information from third parties.
How we use information we collect
We use the information we collect from all of our services for administrative and legitimate business purposes, to provide, maintain, protect and improve our services, to develop new ones, and to protect CEIS.
When you contact CEIS, we may keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues.
We will use your email address to inform you about our services, such as letting you know about upcoming events, training, workshops or business support services.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.
Disclosure of your information
We will not sell your personal data to any third parties.
We may share personal information with other companies and individuals within CEIS Group, and with selected third parties such as business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you.
We may share your information with analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site and services.
We may disclose your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so, or to protect the rights and property of CEIS.
Data Retention
We retain your information for no longer than necessary, taking into account any legal obligations we have and our legitimate interests as a business.
Information security
CEIS aim to protect your data from unauthorized access or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction using appropriate technical and organisational measures.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us not to contact you for marketing purposes and/or to withdraw your consent to direct marketing at any time. You can exercise this right at any time after giving consent by contacting us at ceis@ceis.org.uk.
