This event, run as part of the ISEO social enterprise support offer is designed to support early stage entrepreneurs and existing social enterprise organisations looking to work in emerging economies.
The Challenges Group aims to optimise enterprises for the long term through enterprise support, market analysis and strategy, finance, training and innovation, and together develop enterprising solutions to global challenges.
Headquartered in Scotland the Challenges Group also has offices in Ghana, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia. In addition to offering one to one business advisory support to organisations wanting to establish enterprises in emerging markets, they have led multi-agency commercial initiatives in rural communities, such as in Rwanda where we’re enabling seven coffee co-operatives to access global markets, and in Malawi they are establishing commercial hubs to better balance supply chains and improve conditions for farmers.
In this webinar Ross Isdale took us through key considerations that you may wish to consider as you develop your enterprising idea. We were also joined by Mark Anderson, Director of Research and Innovation at Glasgow Caledonian University and Mia Perry, Founder of Sustainable Futures Global.
